Description

The vitamin K2 capsules by BjökoVit contain pure vitamin K2 MK7 from Natto and is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. Each pack contains 60 capsules with a plant-based capsule shell.

What is Natto:
Small soybeans that are fermented with the help of a special bacterium (Bacillus subtilis ssp. Natto) are known as Natto. The beans are soaked in water overnight, boiled and steamed the next day and then inoculated with the bacteria. During the fermentation, the characteristic strong umami taste develops. Most importantly, Natto has a very high content of vitamin K2. Soybeans naturally contain vitamin K2, but this increases 100-fold during fermentation.
