Humana Electrolyte - Fennel Flavour is a food supplement with a combination of minerals that can help compensate for mineral and fluid losses as a result of diarrhoea. The powder must be dissolved in water before taking and has a pleasant fennel flavour - suitable for babies, children and adults.

Important information:

• Humana Electrolyte should only be used under medical supervision.
• Diarrhoea can be a sign of serious illness. Diarrhoea, especially in infants and small children, can quickly lead to severe symptoms of illness (clouding of consciousness, shock), especially if accompanied by incessant vomiting. Therefore always consult a doctor when treating diarrhoea in infants and small children.
• Humana Electrolyte must not be used in cases of renal insufficiency, metabolic alkalosis, incessant vomiting, clouding of consciousness or shock, severe dehydration and carbohydrate malabsorption (monosaccharide malabsorption).

Preparation and dosage:
Humana Electrolyte can be used to compensate for fluid loss in the first 3-6 hours on the first day of diarrhoea (oral rehydration). Dissolve the contents of one sachet (6.25 g powder) in 250 ml of freshly boiled drinking water and drink warm or cold in smaller amounts. Please check that it is at a comfortable drinking temperature (37°C) before feeding/drinking. Do not reuse warmed leftovers.
