Description
This baking mix for chocolate cake with gingerbread spices by Bake Affair is a delicious festive treat for the Advent season. It combines the finest chocolate and exquisitely aromatic spices in a soft and moist dough with irresistible winter flavours. Ideal as a highlight on the festive table or cosy afternoon breaks, this cake adds a festive Christmas flair to your home.
Baking instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 165 °C and grease a bundt cake tin or cake pan.
- Take the contents of the baking mix in a bowl and add 130 ml of water and 30 g of melted butter. Mix well to form a smooth dough.
- Transfer the dough to the prepared cake pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes (use a toothpick to test for doneness).
- Take the cake out of the oven, let it cool for 10 minutes and turn it out of the pan. Dust with powdered sugar or decorate with chocolate icing.
Tip:
The baking mix is also ideal for baking cupcakes. Prepare the dough as described above and spoon into the cups of a cupcake tin. Bake at 165 °C for around 25 minutes.
