Description

This baking mix for chocolate cake with gingerbread spices by Bake Affair is a delicious festive treat for the Advent season. It combines the finest chocolate and exquisitely aromatic spices in a soft and moist dough with irresistible winter flavours. Ideal as a highlight on the festive table or cosy afternoon breaks, this cake adds a festive Christmas flair to your home.

Baking instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 165 °C and grease a bundt cake tin or cake pan.
  2. Take the contents of the baking mix in a bowl and add 130 ml of water and 30 g of melted butter. Mix well to form a smooth dough.
  3. Transfer the dough to the prepared cake pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes (use a toothpick to test for doneness).
  4. Take the cake out of the oven, let it cool for 10 minutes and turn it out of the pan. Dust with powdered sugar or decorate with chocolate icing.

Tip:
The baking mix is also ideal for baking cupcakes. Prepare the dough as described above and spoon into the cups of a cupcake tin. Bake at 165 °C for around 25 minutes.
