Flaxseed oil, also known as linseed oil, is obtained from flaxseeds, the seeds of an old crop that transforms fields into a sea of beautiful, delicate blue flowers. It impresses with its nutty taste and typical bitter notes, contains plenty of omega-3 fatty acids and is prized as one of the highest quality vegetable oils! It is not recommended for use in cooking and should be only eaten cold. Drizzle some of this flavourful oil on salads, freshly steamed potatoes or fresh cheese (quark). Add it as a topping on rice or vegetable dishes. Alnatura's organic flaxseed oil is gently cold-pressed.

Important note: Flaxseed oil should always be kept cool after opening, preferably in the refrigerator, and used up quickly.
